Scalp cleansing products combine three functions—scalp cleansing, shampoo, and treatment—into one. This 3-in-1 product cares for the scalp while leaving hair clean and silky-smooth.
It works by dissolving impurities into the oil and then rinsing them away from the scalp upon contact with water. Formulated with three types of adsorbing ingredients (Taranak Clay, bentonite, and charcoal), it captures and draws out the oil containing impurities. As it contains no cleansing agents (*), it is recommended for those with a tendency toward a dry scalp and those looking for year-round scalp care.

We highly recommend trying a scalp massage when using a scalp cleanser. Massaging your scalp with your fingers provides a refreshing sensation. Here is a simple method.
① Lightly press the hollows behind your ears with both thumbs. Spread your other fingers and place the pads of your fingers against your entire head. Gently massage the area behind your ears and your whole head.
② Interlace the fingers of both hands, place them on the crown of your head, and massage with somewhat firm pressure. Continue by massaging along the center line of your head.
③ Make a fist and place the fleshy pad at the base of your thumb (thenar eminence) behind your ear. With the intention of draining waste products, move the pad from behind your ear, down the back of your neck, and toward your collarbone—stroking from top to bottom—5 to 10 times.
After the massage, work the scalp cleanser through your hair. It absorbs impurities while leaving your hair smooth and silky.
