The name is Domestic Yuzu Ginger Sparkling . It is a carbonated liqueur "all about yuzu" combining yuzu spirits and skinless pressed yuzu juice, two ingredients unique to Yamakami Kaju Yakusoen, and was launched on Monday, August 4, 2025.
Yuzu spirit is an alcoholic distillate brewed from the fruit after the rind has been scraped off and the juice squeezed, mixed with yeast and millet sugar. Yuzu spirits are single distilled to bring out the aroma of the ingredient, yuzu. On the other hand, skinless pressed yuzu juice is made by crushing the fruit after scraping off the outer skin and pressing it. It has a gentle pulpy taste without the bitterness and bitterness derived from the outer skin.
This carbonated liqueur is a blend of these two rare ingredients. The acidity of the yuzu juice is slightly subdued, and the bubbles are fine and refreshing on the palate and throat. It is finished with a tangy Japanese ginger kick.
