Cleansing is necessary to remove makeup. The main ingredient of cleansing oil blends with oil, which is the main ingredient of makeup, and lifts it off the skin. The main ingredient of our cleansing oil is vegetable oil. Vegetable oils, which are similar to the composition of human sebum, are highly compatible with the skin. We chose hybrid safflower oil, which comes from bred safflower seeds. It has a light texture and contains more oleic acid than regular safflower oil. Oleic acid is the most abundant fatty acid in human sebum and has a high affinity with the skin, making it easy to spread.
Rice nuka oil, another vegetable oil, is characterized by its thick texture. It acts as a cushion between the skin and fingers, softening friction during cleansing and allowing makeup to be removed without stressing the skin. Rice nuka oil, which contains a good balance of oleic and linoleic acids, is a highly moisturizing oil. Linoleic acid is one of the components of ceramide, which is essential for healthy, moisturized skin. It is also rich in vitamin E, gamma-oryzanol, and other ingredients that are good for beauty. Hokuroku Sosui cleansing oil cannot be used with wet hands, but because it contains less surfactants, it is lighter on the skin and does not remove too much sebum. Daily cleansing thoroughly washes away makeup and roughness, and returns skin to a clean state where moisturizing ingredients used in moisturizing care can easily penetrate.
